Mentor Experience Manager – Full Time

Menttium is seeking an experienced Relationship Manager to join our team as our Mentor Experience Manager. This position is designed to oversee our world-class mentor network and lead the end-to-end mentor experience (recruitment, engagement, communications, education). The position is critical to day-to-day operations of the business, as well as to ensure our mentor network is diverse and robust to meet the needs of our mentee program cohorts. Human Resources, Leadership Development, Recruiting, Learning & Development acumen with Fortune 500 companies is highly preferred, in addition to strong communication and networking skills.

 

OVERVIEW

 

The Mentor Experience Manager is responsible for building relationships with Menttium mentors, with a focus on engagement and mentor recruitment to ensure Menttium maintains a reputation as best-in-class for the mentoring experience. Our mentors are volunteers so understanding how to motivate an audience of seasoned business leaders who are executives and choose to give their time to Menttium will be critical. Our mentors are a cornerstone of our business. The Mentor Experience Manager will report to our Sales Leader and work cross-functionally with team members in all areas of the business, including Account Management, Operations and Marketing.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Mentor Recruitment
    • Develop and execute a mentor recruiting strategy based on mentee forecast; you will be responsible for specific volume and quality goals both individually and collectively with the team based on defined mentor criteria.
    • Collaborate with team to ensure diversity and volume of mentor network align with incoming mentee participants and forecast future of the network based on client needs.
    • With many of our mentors engaging year over year, a great deal of focus will also be on mentor retention and engagement, in addition to new recruitment.
  • Mentor Network Engagement
    • Develop and implement a strategy to maintain high engagement within the mentor community; partner with other team members to build strong relationships, connect regularly, and provide thought leadership.
    • Lead efforts with team members to ensure mentors are successfully onboarded, provided up-to-date materials, and have the information they need to confidently mentor.
    • Recommend solutions to meet mentors’ needs, to potentially include ongoing networking, education, and other value-add opportunities to increase mentor skills and overall leadership capacities.
    • Serve as the main point of contact for our mentor network to address questions, resolve partnership issues in conjunction with our Account Management Lead, respond to requests, and escalate any needs or challenges to senior leaders.
    • Conduct mentor interviews as part of our Interview and Match Process.
  • Marketing and Engagement Collaboration
    • Define an ongoing mentor communication strategy, in addition to regular program correspondence, to add value and keep mentors informed of Menttium news.
    • Review ongoing mentor communications, customize as needed, and participate in the coordination of mass mentor email communications.
    • Partner with Sr Marketing Specialist to update existing mentor collateral and propose recommendations for new information/tools; identify mentors to participate as speakers in various facilitated sessions, as well as participation in marketing initiatives such as LinkedIn campaigns and podcasts.

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a professional work environment

Preferred knowledge:

  • Human Resources, Org Development, Leadership Development, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, Recruiting, Learning & Development or Talent Management Job Function or Industry Knowledge.
  • Recruitment/interviewing experience is a plus!

Contract Interview Specialist – Part Time

We are currently seeking a flexible contract interviewer to support our busy interview seasons. Do you love talking to people and helping them gain clarity in their goals?  Are you looking for a flexible work schedule?  This could be the position for you!

Key Accountabilities

  • Conduct mentee and mentor interviews via phone to determine the mentee’s development goals and the mentor’s skills and strengths as they relate to mentoring.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all collected data.
  • Exercise courtesy and professionalism to all respondents.
  • Demonstrate the ability to professionally work with cross-cultural individuals.
  • Flexibility in schedule during peak interview periods.
  • Other duties as discussed.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Three to five years plus experience working in a corporate setting (e.g., Fortune 500 company)
  • Three years interviewing experience Associates degree in business, management, HR or similar Bachelor degree preferred
  • Six years experience in lieu of degree
  • Ability to read and speak English fluently
  • Ability to talk, listen, interview and type concurrently
  • Bilingual is a plus
