Retention and Engagement are increasingly important to the organizations that we serve. We think it is worth noting intangible reasons why cross-company mentoring partnerships are so effective at increasing these factors.
1. Mentors often help mentees see that the “grass is not greener” at a different organization. When we speak with our mentoring participants, they tell us that they realized through the mentoring process that they were going to face similar challenges regardless of where they work.
