Courageous Conversations

Many of us find ourselves having what we call “courageous conversations.” We’re talking with colleagues, team members, and even clients and suppliers about how we work together and what we need to be able to show up to work together effectively and authentically. Often we are talking about topics we’ve never openly, honestly talked about before—even things we’ve been told to avoid in the past. Having “courageous conversations” may make us feel uncomfortable and sometimes we fail in everyone feeling heard. In this Business Education Webinar, we’ll examine some of the reasons this happens and explore practical tools that we can use to improve.

By attending this session, you will:

  • Define key elements of courageous conversations
  • Review a helpful model and identify critical skills
  • Identify some of the disconnects between intention/aspiration and experience
  • Explore what you can do to have positive outcomes with everyone more consistently
